A stretched sketch

Looking on the Two Peas website to see what Shimelle was doing this year, I came across the Stretch Your Sketch classes from 2011. I had seen them before, but not really taken much notice to be honest. However, after a little surf (hmm, about an hour on the computer!) I found several really good sketches to use and the first one I am using is the December one:

I am working my way through the photos of Ben's graduation and wanted to do a page with photos including Rachel (his girlfriend) on. This seemed an ideal sketch to use.
I embossed each of the banner pieces with silver embossing powder and then stuck the letter stickers on top and strung it using some ribbon. The papers and stickers I bought a while ago and are all graduate themed. I really like this page and am looking forward to putting it into the album. I am in the process of completing another graduation layout - a double page spread - which I am only slightly stuck on! I need to add embellishments, but can't make up my mind what to use or where to put them! It is on my desk and I keep returning to it. Hopefully it will be finished soon.

The sketch works really well - I admire your skill with the banner, which is the perfect addition.

I think the banner is just perfect! Would it work again on your double pager?
