Here is another layout I created over the Easter Weekend. This time I decided to use some pocket cards but to place them on a sheet of 12x12 cardstock to create a page. This was inspired by Melissa's post here about scrapping outside the pocket with a grid design.
I liked the idea of splitting the journalling across the cards, as each piece told its own story.
I had fun finding embellishments for this page and like the way it has come together.

That's a lovely way to tell the story.....and a great use of journaling cards.
Gorgeous looking garden - glad your parents are moved and settled. I like the grid pattern and use of cards.
Love how you've told the story with the cards.
Here's another fan of the grid! Your combination of photos and shapes and embellishments is a delight to the eye. And how fortunate your Mum and Dad found such a good place so quickly.
What a happy page, and the grid and journaling card technique is just perfect for it!
You've told the story really well by using the Pocket Cards and split journaling.
This is so effective. I like how you've split the journalling, it really works :)
This turned out great Becky! I really like the way you embellished the individual cards. Thanks so much for the shout out - totally makes me smile on a rainy gray day here in Texas!! :>)
